For over 25 years, the Walt Disney Company has been providing the experience of a lifetime for a group of lucky students who earn the opportunity to live a dream-come-true working at the Walt Disney World Resort near Orlando, Florida. This year is no exception, as a Disney recruiter will be in Boston on Wednesday September 26 and Thursday September 27. He will present a one hour overview of opportunities available to students for the Spring 2008 Walt Disney World College Program and advanced internships. Disney alumni will also be there to answer any of your questions about the program. The Disney College Program allows students the opportunity to work for a Fortune 100 company in roles such as merchandise, park operations, recreation, vacation planner, transportation, costuming, entertainment (character performer), food and beverage, hospitality and lifeguard. These great positions open the door to Advanced Internships in management roles, as well as full-time careers in architecture, engineering, finance, hospitality management, marketing, sales, human resources, and show production. Students are exposed to many training and development opportunities and are also able to earn college credit by taking classes taught by Disney leaders.
