As a faculty member and advisor, you play an important role in your students’ career development. Students seek your advice on issues ranging from majors and resumes to graduate school and professional direction. This relationship often continues beyond Tufts, as former students enter the workplace and pursue graduate study.

Likewise, we forge relationships with students and share with you a strong investment in their development. Based on this mutual interest, we are working to strengthen our connection with faculty. As we seek ways to collaborate, we are creating new programs and building awareness of existing services.

Don’t Cancel a Class!

Check out our newest initiative which offers you the option of arranging a career workshop instead of canceling a class. We provide standard and customized workshops to substitute for your regularly scheduled classes. Online Workshops

Our audience is the technologically savvy Millennial generation. They’re connected 24/7, and they expect immediate access to information. In response, we deliver critical career advice online, and most recently, have introduced tutorials on internships, interviewing, cover letters, and more.

Tufts Career Network

Research indicates that most people identify new employment opportunities by networking rather than traditional job search methods. Therefore, we’ve engaged more than 7,000 alumni and parents to offer advice and mentoring through the Tufts Career Network. We invite you to take a look and to join, if you like.
