Researching EmployersWhether identifying employers for jobs or preparing for an interview with a particular employer, you should thoroughly research the employer using many different tools. Your research can provide you with valuable clues about the culture and opportunities available. It can also provide you with material on which to base the questions you ask during your job interviews or networking conversations. If you are researching a particular employer, begin with their web site. Be sure to read any press releases or news sections as well as the general employer information provided. Check out general research sites like Career Search and career field-specific resources such as journals and professional associations. Resources for researching employers
