The Journal of Construction Engineering and Management publishes quality papers that aim to advance the science of construction engineering,

The National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE) strengthens the engineering profession by promoting engineering licensure and ethics, enhancing the engineer image, advocating and protecting PEs' legal rights at the national and state levels, publishing news of the profession, providing continuing education opportunities, and much more.

Progressiveengineer is an online magazine with some job listings. The site includes message boards, company profiles and listings by state, events and a jobs database. Jobs are mostly found in the mid-atlantic region.

The Structural Engineering Institute (SEI)  involves all facets of the structural engineering community including practicing engineers, research scientists, academicians, technologists, material suppliers, contractors, and owners.

Tufts Institute of the Environment (TIE) is an interdisciplinary, university-wide education and research institute which facilitates and coordinates environmental programs at the University.
