Gays and Lesbians in Foreign Affairs Agencies GLIFAA is a non-profit that works to secure full parity for gay and lesbian personnel and their families in U.S. foreign affairs agencies serving in the United States and overseas.

University of Pennsylvania Career Services (Click on Internet Links from the left column to get to the Lesbian, Gay & Bisexual site.) Includes information about resume writing, coming out on the job, interviewing strategies, and researching organization policies and climates. Also provides links to other informative sites.

Colorado College Career Services Assists with decisions regarding sexual orientation and job searching. Includes common issues that are discussed from the perspective of students, gay professionals, and employers.

Mount Holyoke Career Development Center Provides a listing of various websites that includes information about group searching, gay work place issues, and company/organization policies. Also includes resource listings.

Lawrence University Career Center Discusses the issues faced by LGBT people in the workplace. Also provides additional resources that can help with the decision on how to approach various career issues.

Worknet Employer Database Provides information on companies with non-discrimination policies, domestic partner benefits, and LGBT employee groups. Includes a listing of states which ban discrimination.

Pro Gay Jobs E-Recruitment site dedicated to helping gays and lesbians find jobs in gay-friendly companies. Provides job postings from companies that promote diversity, and provide safe and open environments for all workers.

Transgender: Employment and Transition Includes a FAQ section on transgender and transsexual issues, and a section on transitioning and employment.

Queer Resources Directory Includes links to workplace and domestic partner resources, as well as queer friendly businesses.

Out Professionals NYACM was founded in 1983 by ten gay men and lesbians.  We didn't really know what to call this new group when we began, but we thought the title "New York Advertising and Communications Network" was descriptive yet generic enough to not offend straight sensibilities.

The Commercial Closet Association A non-profit educational and journalism organization that works to improve societal perceptions of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people through better portrayals in the most powerful cultural medium of our time--mainstream advertising. The project brings together journalistic reporting, critiques, visitor reviews, live video lectures, guidelines and resources for advertisers and their ad agencies.
