How to Post a Job

Hello Employer Partners!

Whether it is your first time posting with us or it has been a little while and you need a refresher, here is a great resource by Handshake, our job database platform, on how to successfully create and share an opportunity.

Do you already have an active posting, but are only recently connected to Tufts? That’s fine too! Here is how you can add Tufts to your list of schools where your opportunity is active.

Remember, when creating opportunities it is best to be as thorough as possible in the position posting. Make sure you are including key responsibilities and duties of the role, if you have any qualifications (class year, major, GPA, etc.), and it never hurts to add a little bit about the team they’ll be joining! For bonus points, add in a brief overview of what the student can expect for the interview process and hiring timeline. Also, be sure to keep your expiration date of the posting within 6 months to keep it up-to-date.

As always, you are welcome (some would even say encouraged), to reach out to the Employer Relations team with any questions and ideas about connecting with students and alumni and partnering more closely with Tufts!

The ER Team,

Sue Atkins – Associate Director
