Tisch College is excited to offer substantive summer internships in the public, nonprofit, and private sectors which will allow Tufts students to work on an issue they care about and advance the public good while expanding their skills and networks. Through the internship tasks and assignments, students add capacity to their host organizations, gain a deeper understanding of civic life, develop connections with other Tufts students and alumni, and grow academically, personally, and professionally. Stipends are offered to ensure these opportunities are accessible to all Tufts students. The program consists of three elements:
- Internships at government agencies, non-profits, and advocacy organizations working on some of the most pivotal civic issues of our time.
- Reflection in small groups, led by alumni facilitators. The element of intentional reflection sets TSF apart from other internship programs.
- Events and workshops facilitate connections with peers in the TSF cohort, internship partners, and Tufts alumni. Fellows may also participate in optional alumni mentoring.
Fellows receive funds in the amount of $4,500* for 2021.
