Tufts Employer Newsletter – January 2021

Dear Tufts Employers,

Happy New Year from the Employer Relations Team at Tufts University! We are eagerly planning our Spring 2021 semester of Virtual Career FairsEmployer virtual workshops and events, as well as virtual interviews. Please reach out to your ER team member (see below listing by industry sector) if you would like to setup a time to speak with us about arranging any of these upcoming activities this semester.

We also want your feedback from the fall semester regarding your recruitment goals and outcomes. Please complete our survey and be entered to win a free registration to one of our upcoming virtual career fairs. More information about the survey and to enter can be found below.

Our students will start the semester officially on February 1st and our Career Services team looks forward to working with you this semester as you move toward meeting your recruitment goals for internships, co-ops, and full-time positions within your organizations.

We also have several sponsorship and partnership opportunities for employers who would like to partner more closely in advance of the upcoming fairs. Partnership opportunities may be found on our website and please contact Sue Atkins, Associate Director for further details.

Reaching Tufts Seniors

Our seniors are actively engaged in job searches and are looking for opportunities to connect with employers and their open positions during this challenging time. Check out this blog post that highlights information and tips on posting the best descriptions to reach Tufts candidates!

We also love to hear when you have hired a Tufts Jumbo – send us your hiring updates so that we can celebrate those success stories with our team!

Employer Engagement Survey

We are seeking your creative ideas from your fall recruitment programming and outreach. For those who complete this quick survey, we will be selecting one employer to receive a FREE Registration to one Spring 2021 virtual career fair of your selection.

Good Luck & Thank You!

Website for Employers

The Career Center has a new website which now organizes our team and our content by career communities. In addition, you will see jobs, internships, and co-ops as well as employer events integrated from Handshake directly to our various career community pages.

We are looking to our employer partners for new blog, video, and creative content that will help provide visibility to your organization as well as developing educational content such as resume and interview tips and resources for students.

Please contact a member of the Employer Relations team if you would like to work with us on developing new content for our website.
