Dear Tufts Employers,
The Spring 2021 semester is in full swing! Students began classes on February 1st and employers are already hosting some great programming.
We want to thank all the employers, representatives, and alumni that joined us for our two virtual career fairs last week. We had more than 80 employers and 1,200+ student-employer interactions across the two days.
We will have one more virtual career fair this semester with a focus on the creative arts industry sector and hope that many of you will join us for that event, which is highlighted below. If you are still looking for opportunities to meet with Tufts students during the semester, please reach out to your employer relations (ER) staff member.
Sincerely,
Misha, Jonathan, and Sue
ER Team

Promotion and Branding Opportunities
If your organization is seeking new ways to reach Tufts students, we have some opportunities for you to consider with our new website!
We are seeking new and creative content that will help inform and educate our students about various industry sectors, recruitment and hiring practices, and ways to navigate their job search during the pandemic. Please consider partnering with us to develop written or video content on the following topics:
- Brief employer interviews highlighting candidate best practices
- Common mistakes to avoid on resumes and cover letters
- How students can stand out from other candidates in the virtual recruitment landscape
- Networking 101 with recruiters
If you have any existing video or written content about your organization or information regarding any of the areas mentioned above, please reach out to our ER team. We are also open to discussing other topics and ideas that might be valuable to our student audience.
2020 Tufts Graduates Destination Outcomes
We are happy to share some of the destinations information that we received from our 2020 undergraduate Senior Survey. We have found that 93% of our Tufts undergraduates complete at least 1 internship and 80% complete 2 or more during their time at Tufts.
In addition, the top 5 cities where are graduates find jobs outside of Boston are New York City, Washington, D.C., San Francisco, Seattle, and Chicago.
More insights about Tufts graduates and their first destinations can be found on the Infographic.
We love to know if your organization hired a Tufts intern or employee in 2020 or 2021 – please let us know by sharing that information with an ER team member.
Coffee Hour with the ER Team
We know it has been more challenging to meet and connect with recruitment colleagues during this time. Please let us know if you would be interested in joining the Tufts University ER team for an informal coffee hour, giving you a chance to share ideas, best practices, and to learn more about what is happening at Tufts University.
ER Team Contact Information
If you are interested in connecting with an ER team member, please send us an email. We will respond to you as quickly as possible and look forward to hearing from you.
