Maine hires more than 13,000 employees each summer to work at the various summer camps. That’s 13,000 opportunities for individuals to: serve as vital role models to youngsters; advance skills development; and build a resume – all in Maine’s unrivaled natural beauty.
Camp staff have the opportunity to learn and expand a broad range of highly transferable job skills, many in complete alignment with their course of study and all applicable to future employment opportunities. Approximately 35 Maine youth camps will be available for live conversations about employment opportunities for the 2021 camp season. Maine Summer Camps also has a jobs board on its website, Summer Camp Jobs – Maine Summer Camps (mainecamps.org), which lists job openings at a full range of Maine youth camps.
