Many Tufts students are interested in gaining 1 – 3 years of experience before taking the next step in their career journey, whether that’s a graduate or professional degree program, another job, or something else.
With this in mind, I often talk with students about short-term skill-building opportunities for after Tufts — programs ranging in duration from 6 months – 2 years or more. They’re often called Fellowships, and sometimes Research Assistantships or a year of service. Whatever the title, what these programs have in common is that they allow one to gain valuable career-related skills in a defined period of time and through programs that have concrete sets of goals for participants.
Here’s a quick sample of programs that Tufts grads have completed. Keep reading for ways to find even more!
