Tufts E-Week+ – Go for fun, to meet others, and for your career!

Wow.  The line up of activities and events for Tufts EWeek+ is amazing.  Something for everyone – starting with a big virtual networking event and ending with a talk by an astronaut.  Some events are just fun and would be a great way to do something with current friends or meet new friends, and others are more career focused.  I encourage you to look at the whole list and determine a few things to attend.  Here I will remind you of a few things that are career focused:

  • 17th Annual Engineering Student-Alumni Networking Night
  • Feb 17, 6-7:30pm – Virtual

As I write, there are over 165 alumni registered to join.  They are coming just to talk to students about career related topics.  Take advantage of this event to practice networking, or to meet someone who can answer your specific questions about careers, industries, job types, grad. school etc.    Register here:  https://tufts.joinhandshake.com/events/922339/share_preview

You will receive a list of the alums registered with contact information when attending the event.

  • Interview Event
  • Feb 24 1-4 – Virtual

New this year, we have  companies coming to interview students (virtually) the afternoon of the th.   Go to Handshake under Campus Interviews (these will be virtual) and see the attached jobs.  Apply for those you are interested in.  The company will decide who they will interview.  You must apply to be selected.

Best Advice of the Week:  Take advantage of special events like these as they are presented to you.

Have a great time at E-Week.
