The College Advising Corps (CAC) is a national non-profit organization that works to increase the rates of college enrollment and completion among low-income, first-generation college, and underrepresented high school students.
College Advising Corps-Boston University (CAC-BU) places well-trained, 35 recent college graduates as full-time college advisers in 31 area high schools (Boston Public Schools, Somerville High School, and Malden High School). Advisers help students navigate the complex processes of college admissions, matriculation, and securing financial aid.
