The Tufts University Career Center is hosting a Design Networking Night on Thursday, November 7th, from 6-8pm at the Tufts Medford Campus. Given the increasing overlap between technical and creative opportunities, this event is an opportunity for employers, alumni, and students to network and learn about the technical and creative paths in a design career. The event will start with a panel from 6:00-6:45 pm and then transition into networking with high-top tables for the remainder of the evening.
Employers and alumni working in UX/UI, Graphic Design, Product Design, Game Design, and other design-based roles are invited to participate. All undergraduate and graduate students are encouraged to attend, with the event being particularly helpful for students interested in technical and creative design and/or pursing majors such as Human Factors Engineering, Interdisciplinary Art, Film and Media Studies, Computer Science, and Computer Engineering.
