Dear Employer Partners,
Tufts students have returned to campus, and the fall semester officially began on September 3rd. It is a busy and exciting time! We are eager to welcome students and employers to our career fair later this month — as a reminder, registration for the fair closes Friday, 9/20. We hope you can join us!
As always, feel free to connect with our team to discuss your upcoming recruitment needs.
Sincerely,
Employer Relations Team

100 Jumbos Campaign – Bring Tufts alumni to our Career Fair!
Calling all Tufts alumni! The Tufts Career Center & Alumni Career Services invite you to participate in our 100 Jumbos campaign, with the goal of having 100 Tufts alumni in attendance at our Fall In-Person Career Fair on Friday, September 27. Please consider supporting Tufts students in their efforts to find internships and jobs by representing your employer at the Fair along with your HR/Recruitment team.
To participate, alumni should reach out to their HR/talent team about participating in our Fall Career Fair. We will offer a special Jumbo Discount of $100.00 off the registration fee to any employers joining through the 100 Jumbos campaign.
Promote Jobs & Internships/Co-ops with Handshake!
Want to share a job posting with Tufts students? Tufts utilizes a recruiting database called Handshake, where employers can make a profile and post any job, internship, or co-op openings for Tufts students and alums to view. With a Handshake account, you can request to post jobs, events, interview schedules and view/register for career events sponsored by the Tufts Career Center.
If your company is planning to attend our fall Career Fair, now would be a great time to update your Handshake profile with your available job opportunities so that students can see what openings you are recruiting for this fall. Questions about posting opportunities on Handshake can be directed to willa.mayo@tufts.edu.
Community Service Federal Work Study Program for Nonprofits
The Community Service Federal Work Study is a program for college students with demonstrated financial need who are serving the local community in Medford, Somerville, or Boston through work at local non-profits. Federal Work Study students work part time and use their earnings for tuition, books or living expenses. Learn more here.
Design Networking Night – Thursday, November 7th
The Tufts Career Center is hosting a Design Networking Night on Thursday, November 7th, from 6-8pm at the Tufts Medford Campus. We are inviting employers and alumni in the creative and/or technical design industry to connect with students and provide more information about their organization’s internships and jobs, industry trends and developments, and beneficial skills and abilities.
If you’re interested in attending or have any questions about the event, please contact Sarah Reinbrecht at sarah.reinbrecht@tufts.edu. Read more information about this event here.
