What is the Program?

CVS Health’s General Management Corporate Internship Program is a 10-week summer internship designed for aspiring leaders. It is a great opportunity for students interested in business and/or health careers. This internship offers an immersive experience across the CVS enterprise, including CVS Pharmacy, CVS Caremark, Aetna, Signify Health, CVS Minute Clinic, CVS Specialty, and Oak Street Health.

Interns will gain valuable experience by owning a key project in one of the business units. Projects focus on developing critical leadership skills such as strategic thinking, decision-making, relationship building, and executive presence.

Interns will spend 80% of their time working on projects within their business unit, while the remaining 20% is dedicated to leadership development through the General Management Development Program (GMDP).

What is the General Management Development Program (GMDP)?

The General Management Development Program is proceeded by the CVS General Management Corporate Internship program. It is a a rotational program sponsored by CVS President and CEO, Karen Lynch, where participants gain experience in three diverse business areas through three 13-month rotations. Interns are encouraged to apply for the full-time General Management Development Program after completing their internship.
