Paid Summer Internships- Peaceboat US at the United Nations

Peace Boat US is an NGO that works to build a culture of peace and sustainability around the world by connecting people across borders and creating opportunities for learning, activism and cooperation. Programs combine learning, activism, advocacy, and travel, enabling participants to learn first-hand about global issues such as war, environmental degradation, gender violence, and other issues.

About the Internship

First years, sophomores & juniors from any major may apply.

-Work on a variety of projects including sustainable design, renewable energy, outreach, youth empowerment & help plan for UN Conferences
-Act as an ambassador for Peaceboat US to the UN
-Receive a UN grounds pass for entry into UN buildings & events and get a close up look at the workings of the UN
-Attend a variety of high-level UN events & NGO briefings at the UN
-Meet with UN reps and officials and build an extensive professional network.
