ArentFox Schiff offers an exciting opportunity for seniors and recent graduates looking to explore the legal field. They have openings for Project Assistants, which are entry-level positions in their law firm designed for recent college graduates eager to start their legal careers. The Project Assistant program is similar to other paralegal programs and provides valuable hands-on experience in a law firm setting. Many participants use this role as a steppingstone to become a paralegal or pursue further education, such as law school. As a Project Assistant, individuals work under the direct supervision of a lawyer, providing substantive legal services. Responsibilities include drafting, analyzing, and preparing legal documents for a supervising lawyer or paralegal, coordinating legal projects, and communicating legal information, preparing draft communications, collecting, evaluating, and summarizing relevant facts and legal concepts, and attending client meetings, coordination meetings, and legal proceedings.
There are OPEN POSITIONS in: Boston, Chicago, New York, San Francisco, and Washington DC. To be considered for the Project Assistant role, candidates must meet the following criteria: a bachelor’s degree earned prior to July 2025, a cumulative GPA of 3.4/4.0 or above, and successful completion of our testing in grammar, proofreading, and Microsoft Excel skills.
