Our Class of 2029 began their Tufts journey on September 2, and we’re kicking off our info sessions, coffee chats, and networking events this week.
On September 9, Tufts announced The Tufts Tuition Pact, offering free tuition to students from families earning under $150,000 — a major step in our commitment to increasing college access. You can read the full announcement on Tufts Now.
We’re also pleased to welcome two new members to our Employer Relations team — Mitch and Sean — who will be joining us in the coming weeks.

Fall Career Fair — Deadline This Week – September 17th

We are pleased to host another in-person career fair on Friday, September 26th from 11:30 AM – 3:30 pm. We’ll welcome 200 employers seeking both internship and full-time role candidates across all industries in the Tufts Gantcher Center. Lunch will be provided.

Welcome New Employer Relations Team Members!
The Tufts Career Center is pleased to announce our two new team members that will be joining us over the next few weeks. We hope you will help us in welcoming them!
Mitch Moise, Assistant Director, Employer Relations

Mitch Moise joins Tufts on October 6th after serving as the Employer Outreach & Engagement Specialist in the MIT Career Advising & Professional Development office where he coordinated large-scale recruiting events, supported career fairs, and built strong connections between employers and students.
He is passionate about helping employers strengthen their recruitment strategies, while also empowering students to feel confident and prepared as they pursue opportunities. He calls Medford, MA home and he earned his B.A. in Communication and Management from Emmanuel College, as well as an M.Ed. in Higher Education Administration from UMass Lowell.
Mitch will be partnering with employers in the following industry sectors:
- Finance, Consulting, Entrepreneurship, and Business,
- Sports & Leisure,
- Arts, Communications, and Media, and
- Education, Non-Profit, and Social Impact
Sean Gorman, Recruiting Coordinator, Employer Relations

Sean Gorman is joining Tufts on Sept. 15th after serving as an Accounting, Finance, and Corporate Functions Recruiter at Aston Carter. He calls Chicago home and relocated to Boston where he graduated with a B.S. in Marketing from the Carroll School of Management at Boston College. While at BC, he worked in Admissions as a tour guide and it was in this role where he became passionate about working with students within a higher education setting, helping advance both the goals of the university itself and the student body it is built to serve.

Occupational Health & Physical Therapy Virtual Career Fair – January 30th
Join the Tufts University School of Medicine & Tufts Career Center for our first combined Occupational Therapy & Physical Therapy Career Fair on January 30th from 1 pm – 3:30 pm in Handshake (virtual). This is a great way to promote your full-time job openings with both our graduating students and alumni candidates.

Networking Nights
This year we will host a number of networking nights across a variety of industry sectors. These events bring employers and alumni to campus to share industry insights, professional expertise, and career pathways with our undergraduate and graduate populations. The events typically run from 6 pm – 8:15 pm and are comprised of a 45-minute industry panel followed by networking with students at small high-top tables labeled by the name of each employer. Student-Alumni Legal Networking Night – October 16
The Office of Alumni Engagement, in partnership with the Career Center and Tufts Lawyers Association, invite Tufts alumni and current students for an evening of meaningful connections, shared experiences, and professional growth. CyberSecurity Clinic: Seeking Non-Profit Clients
Tufts University now has a new Cybersecurity Clinic which is part of the new Cybersecurity Center for the Public Good, it offers free help to non-profit organizations in and around Boston and nationally. At the same time, it provides valuable experience to students looking to break into the cybersecurity field.
We are currently seeking new non-profit organization clients that our talented students can work with this upcoming semester. If you are interested, please reach out to Ming Chow, Teaching Professor, Computer Science and Teaching Professor, Tisch College.
