The Tufts Career Center supports students in the School of Arts & Sciences, the School of Engineering, and The School of Museum of Fine Arts at Tufts which is more than 7,000 undergraduates and over 2,300 graduate students and PhDs.

We observe Native American Heritage Month in November to recognize the achievements and contributions of Native Americans. In 1990 President George H. W. Bush approved a joint resolution designating November 1990 “National American Indian Heritage Month.” Similar proclamations, under variants on the name (including “Native American Heritage Month” and “National American Indian and Alaska Native Heritage Month”) have been issued each year since 1994.

Here at Tufts, the Indigenous Center serves as a community gathering area for programming, studying, breaks, meetings, and socializing to support, encourage, and develop student voices, while centering Indigeneity in the Tufts community. Follow the Indigenous Center on Instagram @tuftsindigenous.

Spring 2026 Career Fair Sponsorships

This fall we hosted a career fair where nearly 2,000 students attended to meet with 143 employers.

Please help us make this coming spring career fair just as successful. We invite you to create a sponsorship prior to the fair to promote your organization and open positions, internships, and jobs to students. You can select your Sponsorship package when you register for the career fair through Handshake.

The Employer Relations team is happy to discuss these and additional opportunities to bring brand awareness and interest in your organization and open positions.

Employer Coffee Hour: AI in Recruitment – Dec. 4th, 1 pm – 4 pm via Zoom

Join the Tufts Career Center Employer Relations Team to discuss the findings from our recent Quick Poll Survey highlighting the use of AI in recruitment.

We will also discuss the pros & cons of AI use and specific advice you would share with students who are using AI in this changing landscape.

Thursday, December 4th from 1 pm – 4 pm EST via Zoom

We will plan to record this session for those that are unable to join us.

Jumbos4Jumbos is an opportunity for Tufts alumni from the School of Arts & Sciences, School of Engineering, and the School of Museum of Fine Arts at Tufts to offer virtual projects and micro-internships for current students. The goal is to provide students with exposure to an industry or opportunity to build new skills such as data analysis, marketing, etc. The program is managed via The Herd, our student-alumni networking & mentoring platform. The site makes the process seamless, and alumni are able to self-manage and monitor the process from beginning to end.

We hope that alumni will consider offering virtual projects during the upcoming winter break between December 22, 2025 through January 14, 2026. Employers with traditional full-time positions and summer internships (remote or in-person) can still post those positions on our Handshake site for students and alumni to access and submit applications.

You will find information about the program along with answers to FAQs and full guide on our Employer Relations website. Please reach out to Sean Gorman, Recruitment Coordinator regarding any questions you may have at sean.gorman@tufts.edu.

Biotech, Health, and Life Sciences Career Fair: January 30th

Boston University, Brandeis University, MCPHS, and Tufts University is hosting our annual virtual career fair in Handshake for our students interested in the Biotech, Health, and the Life Sciences industry.

We hope you will consider joining us on Friday, January 30th, 1 pm – 4 pm and registration for the fair will close on January 16th.

Please find the full details here:   Handshake Registration

Hosted on the Handshake platform, the mission of the Virtual Career Fair is to give employers and students a chance to virtually connect about job, internship, and co-op opportunities. Throughout the fair, employers can host 30-minute group sessions and conduct 10-minute one-on-one video conversations with students.

Attending employers should plan to:

  • Have 2-5 representatives attend the fair in order to host both group and one-on-one sessions concurrently
  • Host at least one group session, as it is the most efficient way to reach several unique students at once (50 students can attend group sessions)
  • Update their Handshake profiles with new jobs, internships and co-ops well in advance of the fair date, and to highlight any alumni representatives that will be representing your organization by listing their name, class year, and major in your career fair employer description details
  • Build out your career fair schedules with designated representatives in advance of student registration opening for students on January 22, 2026 at 9:00 am
  • Registration deadline for employer is January 16th, 2026
