Dear Employer Partners,
Happy spring! It is hard to believe that our year is coming to a close in less than two weeks! We ask that employers complete any programming by April 27th to avoid Reading Period and Final Exam weeks, which take place from April 28th – May 8th, 2026. Commencement will take place on May 17th.
Thank you to all of our employers for your partnership this academic year! If you are interested in connecting with us to discuss your recruitment needs for the 2026-2027 academic year, please let us know. We are happy to arrange a consultation meeting to discuss your plans in greater detail.
Sincerely,
Employer Relations Team at Tufts University

Jumbos 4 Jumbos: June 2026 — August 2026

Jumbos4Jumbos is back for Summer 2026! For those who don’t know, Jumbos4Jumbos is an opportunity for Tufts alumni from the School of Arts & Sciences, School of Engineering, and the School of Museum of Fine Arts at Tufts to offer virtual projects and micro-internships for current students. The goal is to provide students with exposure to an industry or opportunity to build new skills such as data analysis, marketing, etc. The program is managed via The Herd, our student-alumni networking & mentoring platform. The site makes the process seamless, and alumni are able to self-manage and monitor the process from beginning to end.
We hope that alumni will consider offering virtual projects during the upcoming summer break between June 1st and August 21st, 2026. The posting deadline is May 11th, 2026, and the deadline to confirm any hired students in The Herd is May 31st, 2026. These projects can be as brief as a few weeks to a month or the entire summer—there’s a lot of flexibility!
Employers with traditional full-time positions and summer internships (remote or in-person) can still post those positions on our Handshake site for students and alumni to access and submit applications. As an alum you can also post on The Herd and on the Tufts LinkedIn Community view details on Hire a Jumbo!
You will find information about the program along with answers to FAQs and full guide on our Employer Relations website. Please also feel free to join our Jumbos4Jumbos Information Session for Tufts Alumni on Friday, 4/24 from 1pm-2pm!

Fall 2026 Tufts Career Fair Sponsorships
Last fall, we hosted a career fair where nearly 2,000 students attended to meet with 141 employers.
Please help us make this coming fall career fair just as successful. We invite you to create a sponsorship prior to the fair to promote your organization and open positions, internships, and jobs to students. You can select your Sponsorship package when you register for the career fair through Handshake.
The Employer Relations team is happy to discuss these and additional opportunities to bring brand awareness and interest in your organization and open positions. Please reach out to Sue Atkins, Associate Director, Employer Relations at susan.atkins@tufts.edu.
