The Boys’ Room is a mission-based affinity and mentorship program created for Black and Brown boys in grades 3–8 who attend predominantly white schools. The program focuses on creating a supportive environment where students can build confidence, leadership skills, self-awareness, and meaningful peer relationships during an important stage of development. Through mentorship, peer connection, and community support, participants are encouraged to grow both socially and academically while navigating their educational journeys with greater confidence and belonging.
Centered around the values of mentoring, support, and empowerment, The Boys’ Room helps students develop important life and leadership skills throughout the academic year. The organization emphasizes:

- Self-advocacy
The program was created to address the unique social and emotional experiences that Black and Brown boys may encounter while attending predominantly white schools. By creating intentional spaces for connection and encouragement, The Boys’ Room aims to boost morale, strengthen self-acceptance, and help students build lasting peer relationships during a formative stage in their development.
The Boys’ Room operates throughout the academic school year from October through May and currently serves students in New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, and North Carolina.
