The Management Leaders of Tomorrow (MLT) Career Prep Program applications are now open for the 2026 – 2027 recruitment season, and now is the perfect time to learn how this transformative program can help you launch your career. About MLT Career Prep:

Career Prep is more than just a professional development program, it’s a launchpad for your career. Through personalized coaching, hands-on workshops, and access to MLT’s extensive network of 11,000+ alumni and corporate partners, Fellows gain the skills, confidence, and connections to excel in the job market.

Participants receive:

Program Details:

Career Prep is a rigorous, 20-month career development program for emerging student leaders who have experienced inequitable access to career-accelerating resources, including Black, Hispanic, Native American, and other students. Through the program, Fellows explore their strengths, passions, and interests in order to prepare and plan for successful careers in business and tech.

PROGRAM TRACKS
Students will select a first and second choice track during the application process. Upon acceptance, each student will be placed into one track.

  • Financial Services – track deadline August1st
  • Consulting – track deadline September 1st
  • Software Engineering (SWE)/Tech – track deadline October1st
  • Corporate Management – track deadline September 1st

Program includes:

  • Individualized and group career development coaching
  • Exposure and access to over 60 prestigious employers
  • Skill development seminars hosted virtually and around the country
  • Alumni network of over 8,000 professionals (and growing!)

Eligibility for Career Prep Class of 2028:

College sophomore graduating in Fall 2028, Spring 2029, Summer 2029-including July and August of 2029

U.S. citizen or U.S. permanent resident (includes DACA participants)

Earning a bachelor’s degree in a four-year accredited college/university

While there is no minimum GPA required, competitive applicants have at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA.

Career interest in Business or Technology (but we accept all majors)

Demonstrated commitment to MLT’s mission

Lived experience with inequitable access to career accelerating resources

Ability to complete monthly assignments and attend all virtual or in-person seminars required for the completion of the program

Application Deadlines:

All Tracks: Final Deadline on January 15, 2027

Quick tip to share with applicants: Since there is no interview, the essays are critical. Students should take their time and clearly connect their leadership experiences and goals to MLT’s mission.
