Welcome to the Government, International Affairs & Law Community!
Careers in this community focus on serving the public interest, analyzing and setting policy, and ensuring fundamental rights are upheld at the local, state, national and international level— whether it be in an NGO or non-profit, public, or the private sector. People who pursue careers in government, law or international affairs develop skills in writing, public speaking, developing fluency or high proficiency in a second language, interpersonal and intercultural communication, conflict resolution, outreach, systems-thinking, analysis and problem solving.
Examples of career pathways include (but are not limited to): activists, advocacy, analysts, community organizers, consulting, creative arts, education, engineering, finance and budgeting, international development, information technology and computer science, legal, politics, public policy, researchers, and local, state, tribal, federal, or global/international entities.
