At Giampolo Law Group we are experienced in creating life plans that have the elements necessary to protect our clients and their family. It is our mission to address the unique concerns of LGBTQ+ individuals and couples alike so that they can rest assured that their loved ones will be protected.
As an intern, you will be expected to attend final will signings, draft clients’ life plans, have client contact and during consultation meetings.
Marketing and Social Media Development:
Students will be given the opportunity to create social media initiatives to help boost GLG’s exposure to clients and competitors through Facebook, twitter, and LinkedIn. This would allow student the opportunity to research target markets and create incentive programs. Students will also be able to:
– Evaluate financial aspects of business for both GLG and for clients
– Formulate, direct and coordinate marketing activities and policies to promote legal services specific to the LGBT community, corporate clients, and small business clients.
– Use media outlets to promote legal services
Writing – Entrepreneurial/Legal/General Blogging:
Students will write 2 columns per week and in turn, build a professional writing portfolio.
What requirements do you have for this position? Are there any qualifications or skill set that is a must for the position?
Students should have a business background but do not need to have a legal background, though an interest in legal news and research is helpful.
Students should have the following skills:
– Strong writing skills to draft professional publications and blogs
– Research skills, including strategic planning, marketing research and understanding about marketing strategies
– Able to navigate Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn efficiently
– Be comfortable talking with clients and attending networking events, seminars and shows
– Entrepreneurial and business minded, creative, and passionate.
Will the internship position be paid or unpaid?
Unpaid
How many hours per week are you looking for? Do you offer flexible hours? (Since these are full-time students you would have to offer very flexible hours in other to attract good candidates)
The position is well suited for 10-15 hours a week – or more depending on the student’s interest and availability.
The hours would be flexible and the majority of the assignments would be completed virtually. In-person meetings to go over project objectives, ideas and concerns would happen as needed and most likely once a week.
