2025 National Girls and Women in Sports Day

Major League Baseball will host the third annual NGWSD event on Feb. 5, 2025, at MLB headquarters in New York City. The networking event will provide women with the opportunity to learn from current employees who work for the Commissioner’s Office, Major League Clubs and Minor League Clubs. The event will include small group workshops, panels and a networking session with MLB employees.To be eligible for selection, applicants must have at least one of the following attributes:• Current college softball or baseball athlete in their junior year or later• Current college softball or baseball coach or graduate assistant• Graduated college within the past three years and is interested in working in baseballNote, applicants MUST be in their junior year of college or higher or graduated within the past three years unless they are a current college coach. Attendees will be selected based on prior experience, application written portion and readiness to begin a career in baseball. The event is free to attend for selected participants. However, participants are responsible for their own travel and lodging. The application deadline is Dec. 15, 2024, to be considered.
