Boren Fellowship Information Session (Virtual)

Interested in funding an immersive international experience while preparing for a career in public service? Join us for a virtual information session on the Boren Fellowship, featuring a representative from the Institute of International Education (IIE), which administers the program on behalf of the National Security Education Program. Boren Fellowships provide substantial funding for U.S. graduate students to pursue study, research, and language training abroad in regions critical to U.S. national security, including Africa, Asia, Central and Eastern Europe, Eurasia, Latin America, and the Middle East. Students from a wide range of disciplines are encouraged to attend, particularly those studying Latin American Studies, East Asian Studies, Cybersecurity, STEM fields, international affairs, and foreign languages, as well as veterans and ROTC students.During this session, you’ll learn about fellowship benefits, eligibility requirements, the application process, and the federal service commitment that accompanies the award. If you’re interested in developing advanced language skills, gaining international experience, and contributing to the federal workforce after graduation, this is an excellent opportunity to explore one of the nation’s premier international education and public service fellowship programs. Notes:
