Alarm.com’s Product Management (Data Analyst/Business Intelligence/Wellness) team is seeking an ambitious, hard-working, candidate for Summer 2021 with strong academic qualifications, diverse interests, and proven experiences in a dynamic team environment. This position will allow interns to develop product management skills required to deliver solutions used by our partners and internal teams. The Product Management Intern will work closely with internal product and software development teams. The role requires attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES
The Product Management Data Analyst Intern will join the team as a contributor and assist with delivery of new features and product/software enhancements. This will include many aspects of the product management lifecycle but tasks will depend on the status of projects in progress during the internship period.
Primary job responsibilities may include:
- Conducting market research – gathering feedback from customers/team and analyzing product landscape.
- Provide analytical and data-driven decision-making support for key projects in health, fitness and/or wellness.
- Execute quantitative analyses and build predictive models that translate data into actionable insights.
- Create and manage data analysis product lifecycle roadmaps.
- Gather product requirements from PM teams, dealers and other stakeholders to help deliver data driven solutions.
- Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports.
REQUIREMENTS
- Currently BA/BS in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Data Science, Math, Physics, Engineering, Statistics or other technical field. Advanced degrees preferred.
- Understanding of Statistical Concepts, Data Management and data lifecycle.
- Excellent written/oral communication.
- Strong quantitative, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
- Highly motivated, resourceful, self-starter with ability to deliver results.
- Strong computer skills (e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Any prior experience and/or interest in AI
