Community Manager position available – learn about current trends and activities across all energy sectors while building a network of energy organizations interested in engaging with the American Energy Society. Although the position starts with a focus on transactional sales, it will quickly transition to client-management role.
Initial job responsibilities include:
- Identifying and analyzing companies to engage with based on how their interests and needs might align with the AES suite of products
- Reaching out to new and existing contacts
- Securing sponsorships for specific products, events and AES suite of benefits
- Working with your network to ensure all expectations are being met (this includes coordinating with appropriate AES team members)
No background in energy necessary; interest in business and sales beneficial. Training will include acquiring in-depth knowledge of publications, products and services. Weekly team meetings to review business strategies and network needs.
Base salary plus commissions, with quick increase in base salary based on goals met. Great way to boost your resume and gain networking opportunities.
