As a Solutions Consultant working on our Services team, you’ll help bring AnswerRocket to life for our customers. You’ll be on the front lines, working with end users (especially within CPG) to drive adoption of AnswerRocket and help customers turn questions into answers and insights. As a Solutions Consultant, your feedback and contribution will give valuable design insights that improve our product roadmap and ensure we maintain our competitive advantage.

In this role, you’ll get to:

• Apply your Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) knowledge to develop a deep understanding of our customers’ business objectives and correspondingly available data
• Define these business objectives and document the client brief for each opportunity
• Guide customers through the process of getting the most value from our product
• Understand how to transform source data into the target data warehouse schema, including some light data modeling
• Configure the solution, including modeling the business domain in the AnswerRocket tool
• Develop statements of work, deliver on an implementation plan while performing billable work to customer expectations
• Demonstrate the product and tools to customers and prospects
• Coordinate across the organization with Sales, Support and Engineering teams to ensure customer success and to drive new design insights for future product enhancements
• Note: There are no travel requirements for any of our services positions, however this could change as customers’ needs evolve. This role is open to candidates located in Atlanta, GA and/or remote nationwide.

We are looking for people who:

• Have relevant experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry and ideally at least 5 + years experience serving in a consulting or analyst function related to business intelligence and reporting software; note: this position may be updated to accommodate someone with senior level experience
• Come with a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Business or other relevant discipline
• Are familiar with the Kimball Group’s industry best practices for data warehousing and business intelligence
• Come with a strong working knowledge of SQL; Are familiar with JSON, Python with a willingness to learn basic linux functionality as needed
• Have a basic level of proficiency with a programming or scripting language
• Possess the ability to create and update database objects (tables, indexes, etc.)
• Have strong leadership presence; Are self-confident and comfortable leading meetings with internal and external stakeholders
• Enjoy being customer facing and have excellent presentation and communication skills
• Possess a curiosity to learn the customers’ business requirements and have strong problem solving skills with the ability to thrive within uncertainty
• Are energetic with the ability to motivate others and are capable of building cross-functional business relationships within the customers’ organization
• Can effectively juggle multiple projects and are organized
• Are highly collaborative and can execute and make things happen individually or within teams
