As part of our program, you will Provide entry level support for the Emergency Preparedness Department that is aligned with college studies. These functions may include: gathering, compiling and analyzing data; gathering information, benchmarking and/or assisting in report writing or presentation development. Specific responsibilities and projects will be assigned at the discretion of his/her supervisor.

Here’s what you’ll do:

· Assist in the compilation, review and tracking of post-event improvement measures;

· Document emergency role responsibilities through subject matter expert interviews;

· Review, analysis and development of emergency plan documentation and integration across Avangrid;

· Development and management of SharePoint site;

· Benchmark and develop storm response strategy;

· Document and/or develop training materials with subject matter experts

· Participate as command staff team member during emergency events;

· Work in an innovative and energized environment with a chance to make an impact;

· Create a comprehensive presentation of your work completed during the program for presentation to the wider organization at the conclusion of the program.

Education & Experience Required:

• Currently a sophomore or junior pursuing a Bachelor’s or first year in Masters/MBA Degree (Currently pursuing Emergency Management, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Management, Business Administration or Communications Bachelors degree.
• Emergency Management or Incident Command System (ICS) studies relevant to career path
