The Internship at Avant Health will gain hands-on experience in specific areas of healthcare research that centers around landscape assessments, literature synthesis and business/scientific writing.

The internship will enable the candidate to sharpen their business acumen and research skills alike, while gaining gain knowledge of marketing, value communication and research operations from the perspective of Pharmaceutical/Biotech industry as well as public health sector. The role will orient the individual for roles in consulting or life sciences or public health.

Key Responsibilities:

· Conduct literature reviews

· Conduct stakeholder interviews

· Analyze data

· Create reports and white papers

Qualifications:

· A minimum of college degree

· Knowledge of U.S healthcare system

· Knowledge of literature search/evaluations

· Project management skills

· Writing and communication skills

Training and Coaching offered:

Candidates will be offered an opportunity to get hands-on experience on 1-2 aspects of research and dissemination of results (such as literature synthesis, analysis of information and identification/communication of key messages) in addition to developing critical thinking and reasoning skills. The candidate will work under supervision of a senior team member and coached (besides being able to partake in routine team meetings), in a remote setting.

Academic Credits:

This is a 3-month unpaid engagement, geared to train current/recent graduates on key research and business skills. It is the responsibility of the candidate to check with their academic institution concerning ways to claim academic credits for the internship.

Engagement Period:

This role will be remote, with an expected time commitment of 15-20 hours a week.
