Part-Time Editorial Intern, International Enforcement Law Reporter
The International Enforcement Law Reporter, a monthly subscription print and online journal covering the latest developments in the field of international enforcement law, is seeking a part-time editorial intern to join its editorial staff for Spring 2021. The internship will involve roughly 7-15 hours of work/week, and can be conducted remotely. It is unpaid, but may be undertaken for academic credit, if your university allows.
Responsibilities:
The intern will primarily assist with the preparation of posts on the IELR’s companion blog, IELRBlog.com/. Every month , the intern will work with the IELR’s assistant editor to author 2-3 posts for the blog. The posts will cover topics related to international enforcement law, such as money laundering, transnational corruption, transnational organized crime, and international human rights law. Our posts report on recent developments in the news, but they also include a significant analysis component.
This position is ideal for someone interested in international law, or with a prior background or interest in international relations.
Qualifications:
· Enrolled as a student in an undergraduate or graduate institution;
· Outstanding writing, critical thinking, and research skills;
· Strong academic background, especially in political science, international relations, and law-related courses;
· Interest and some knowledge and background in international enforcement law or related fields, such as national security;
· Familiarity with WordPress and/or website design a plus;
· Familiarity with social media and content marketing strategy a plus.
