About this role:
The Relationship Manager plays a key role in executing the company’s expansion strategy. We are looking for a highly driven individual to join our team, to continue cultivating executive relationships with our existing client base. Provide cross-selling solutions for financial service providers, identify their unique business challenges, and drive adoption of our Biz2X solution. The role combines strong product sales consulting, tactical thinking, collaboration, and analytical skills.
This position will work and report to the SVP of Sales to increase our technology footprint, within the assigned North America-US financial services client base.
Responsible for business development efforts within existing accounts. Formulate account plan across portfolio including: Objectives, development activities, opportunities, key issues & priorities, recommended strategy, tactics, action items, and timetables.
Interface with key decision makers and senior leaders within each prospect. Develop existing and new relationships at each account and navigate org to uncover pain points and stay aligned with strategic priorities.
Work cross-functionally and collaborate with marketing, strategy, legal and technical teams. Coordinate with technical and project management teams internally to address any issues related to ongoing service or with current implementation/technical roadmap.
Own the product cross-selling/ up-sale lifecycle of each opportunity as assigned by senior leadership. Identify growth opportunities to expand solutions into new regions and drive increased adoption examples-Card opening, servicing, BSA, etc.
MUST HAVE experience in either Account Management or Channel Partnership Sales within financial services. With a focus on Account Profitability & Growth and Protect current revenue from margin compression.
Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field, graduate degree preferred.
3-7 years of experience in sales, business development, and/or strategic partnerships with strong verbal, written, and presentation skills with proficiency in PowerPoint.
Self-starter with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced sales environment. Lead negotiation on existing business contract renewals and document all activity in CRM. Establish cadence with client team including in-person QBR’s on performance and plans to ensure client success.
Collaboration & Influence: ability to successfully bring together internal and external stakeholders to achieve shared goals. Setup business performance reports for both client and for internal visibility.
Creativity & Innovation: Generates new and innovative approaches to problems. Champion solution deeper into the bank to drive adoption- on-site training, branch visits, etc.
