About this role:
Currently, we seek to hire a talented marketer who is ready to take on the responsibilities of implementing a customer acquisition strategy for a fast-growing financial technology company in the alternative finance industry. The perfect candidate will have a keen eye for good marketing communications and will be highly detail-oriented and task-focused to keep projects moving and on track in a fast-paced environment. You should be up to date on how to manage marketing projects and take them from start to finish across a wide variety of disciplines and should be ready to work closely with other members of the marketing team to deliver against milestones and objectives on-time.
Takes an active role in project management for marketing programs and projects that range from website design to video production to advertising, SEO, product marketing, branding, and creating first class content.
One of the projects will be managing our +7 freelance writers that produces daily blogs for Biz2Credit and Biz2X.
Works closely with team members to prepare marketing and advertising strategies, plans, and objectives and keeps team up to date on project status at all times.
Provides timely and professional updates on project status to executive leadership and coordinates meetings, briefings and requests to ensure all feedback is accounted for in each project.
Prepares marketing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data from multiple data gathering tools.
Ensures promotional materials are ready by coordinating requirements with design team; inventorying existing assets; submitting requests; verifying receipt.
Supports sales staff by providing sales data, market trends, forecasts, account analyses, new product information, relaying customer services requests.
Research marketplace to identify competitive products and industry trends for use in future marketing initiatives.
Plans meetings and conference calls with internal and external stakeholders and produces call reports to ensure all stakeholders are accountable and projects continue to progress.
Accomplishes company goals by accepting ownership for completing new and different assignments as needed.
Minimum Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
Minimum 10 year of marketing experience; financial services or SaaS industry strongly preferred.
Supervisory experience managing a team (on-site and virtual geographically separated).
Excellent communicator who has demonstrated mastery of cross-team communication; knows how to keep team members on-task and on-schedule in a fast-moving, rapidly changing environment.
Proficiency in Asana or similar project management tool to log activities and provide updates to marketing team and stakeholders in a timely fashion.
Knowledgeable about digital marketing process and strategy including prior experience with developing marketing plans and/or strategies.
Bonus experience and skills include MBA, digital advertising, marketing automation, and CRM.
