We are looking for a passionate Math coach to join Blue Ivy Coaching. The coach will develop pedagogic materials, and supervise the program implementation for our SAT, ACT and IB Math programs.
Our approach to each student is completely personalized. Coaches work with students individually and consistently, developing strategies with them for both testing and studying. However, our pedagogical model is larger than simply test tutoring, because we know each student learns and performs in unique ways. We strive for strategies that empower students to become problem solvers and lifelong learners.
Primary responsibilities include working individually with students to help them reach their educational objectives. Our Math coaches instruct IB math, SAT Subject Tests and the Math sections of both SAT and ACT. Our sessions are one-on-one. Secondary responsibilities include participating in Area Meetings, trainings, submitting class reviews, and supporting with scheduling.
The position will begin full-time with a weekly workload of 24 hours of session hours in addition to the secondary responsibilities stated.
