Crane Payment Innovations is looking for a motivated and talented New Product Development Sourcing Specialist Intern to join our Supply Chain team. This student will be responsible for various projects and tasks within multiple functions of the organization. This assignment will be focused on Commercial and some engineering engagement.

Projects Include:

1) Tooling Database Update

2) Resin consolidation database

4) NPD Project Support – Issue PR’s and Tool ID’s for various NPD projects; look for components in the broker market; run NPD BOM’s thru the EOL tool. – NPD Sourcing Specialist will provide direction

Responsibilities

• Contact suppliers in order to update following information:
• Tooling
• Resins
• Update databases with relevant information
• Issue PR/PO’s
• Assign tooling ID’s
• Complete risk assessment on Silicon Expert
• Locate hard to find components in broker market
