FELLOWSHIP INFORMATION:

Fellows be accepted on a rolling basis until all spots are filled. This is a hybrid, entry-level position that may be performed completely remote. Fellows will be trained in campaign strategy and gain hands-on experience with the electoral process. Fellows who demonstrate meaningful commitment and contributions to the campaign may receive promotions and request for a letter of recommendation/references. As a fellow, you are expected to commit to a minimum of 10 hours per month until November 3rd.

INTERNSHIP INFORMATION:

Interns will be accepted until the application deadline of August 14th. This is a hybrid, entry-level position, but, due to a limited number of spots, applicants with prior campaign experience will be preferred. Interns will be trained in campaign strategy and gain hands-on experience with the electoral process. Interns will be compensated for their work by receiving a $1,000 stipend upon completion of the internship. Interns who demonstrate meaningful commitment and contributions to the campaign may receive promotions and request for a letter of recommendation/references. As an intern, you are expected to commit to 10 hours per week until November 3rd.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Talking to voters over the phone and in-person to inform voters about Rep. Tendrich’s platform and make sure they get out and vote.
  • Staffing campaign events.
  • Attending community outreach events on behalf of the campaign.
  • Recruiting volunteers for upcoming events and campaign activities.
  • Creating and executing volunteer recruitment plans.
  • Promoting Rep. Tendrich’s campaign through social media and community advocacy.
  • May vary depending on your skills and strengths!

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Ability to communicate with people of varying backgrounds.
  • Knowledge of policy and current events.
  • Understanding of campaign strategy.
  • Willingness to connect with voters.
