The purpose of the Junior Advisory Committee is to serve as a sounding board for the Executive Director. The committee members represent various areas of the country and are given the opportunity to contribute ideas and suggestions for the successful expansion of For Our Common Good.
JAC members are responsible for brainstorming and offering advice and insights that aid in the growth of For Our Common Good. All members of JAC will be expected to volunteer 2 to 3 hours each month for a term of one year. Each JAC member will be assigned to a committee.
In return for the 2 to 3 hours each month JAC members spend sharing their insights with For Our Common Good, they will get a sense of purpose that comes from the opportunity to impact nonprofits in their community and beyond. They would also expand their network and enjoy a sense of comradery with fellow members with similar interests – relationships that will last a lifetime.
