About us: GetUsPPE is the largest national organization getting personal protective equipment (PPE) to the frontline workers who need it most. In recent months, large hospitals have been able to stock up on PPE, but small and under-resourced facilities still can’t afford it. We have over 17,000 requests for PPE in our database. We deliver PPE free of charge to groups including nursing homes, rural and indigenous communities, and homeless shelters. We care about health equity, and our team of 200+ volunteers came together with one goal in mind: protecting all communities during this pandemic.

Role: Work with our social media team and our development and communications team to create Get Us PPE branded TikTok and Instagram Reel videos and establish partnerships with other TikTok and Instagram users. Work on social media campaign initiatives. Interact and engage on TikTok on behalf of Get Us PPE. Help us to grow our TikTok and Instagram followings.

The Get Us PPE Volunteer Experience: We strive to give volunteers opportunities they wouldn’t have elsewhere. On our communications team, this could mean working with major partners or taking initiative on campaigns. We also offer career mentoring and networking programs. For students, we are happy to give credit or volunteer hours.

Requirements: 4+ hours/week. Must have experience creating Instagram Reels and TikTok videos and working within both platforms. Other social media experience a plus. Must be willing to jump into a highly communicative, fast-moving slack workplace.
