Goldstein Hall PLLC is an established full service real estate firm located in New York City, Albany, New Rochelle (NY) and Washington, DC. The firm is seeking a sharp, hard-working recent college graduate to perform support staff activities similar to those performed by a paralegal. The successful candidate will be immersed in intensive and complex closings requiring coordination with government agencies, private lenders and equity investors. The successful candidate will assist with the following, under the guidance of a supervising attorney: 1) preparing closing documents related to real estate acquisition and/or loan closings, 2) supporting the attorney staff in coordinating closing logistics, 3) assisting in preparing simple sales agreements, leases and other commercial contracts, 4) preparing corporate formation documents for business entities and not-for-profit corporations (including IRS 501(c)3 applications), 5) preparing applications for sales and property tax exemptions, and 6) assembling electronic closing binders.
This position is open immediately and full-time, and the new hire can work remotely from any location in the East Standard Time Zone. Salary and benefits will be presented in the Offer Sheet. All necessary training is provided. Prior employees in the same position have eventually gone onto Law School for formal legal training, and such career progression is encouraged by the firm. However, it is requested that the new hire not proceed to Law School prior to Fall 2022.
