Harvard Business School Professor Tomomichi Amano is seeking a part-time student research assistant for quantitative analysis. This is a terrific opportunity for students looking to explore research in the quantitative marketing field and applied economics. Focus areas include but are not limited to: public policy and marketing (e.g. energy efficiency standards; hybrid vehicle diffusion; mobile game addiction); and online marketing and pricing.
Primary Duties:
Manage, manipulate, and summarize large data sets. Scrape and collect data from online sources. Perform analyses, regressions, and create visualizations.
Qualifications:
Strong working knowledge of Stata, R, Python, or MATLAB, and experience running analysis on remote servers. Experience with Git (for collaboration on coding projects) and working on team coding projects is a plus.

This is a paid position, and pay is based on candidate background and experience.
This role will require 5-15 hours per week on average through the end of the semester.
