The Administrative Intern will work directly with the Historic Bethlehem Museums & Sites Office Manager and support the President and Vice President of Historic Bethlehem Museums & Sites. Interns must commit a minimum of 12 hours per week for this internship. Since this is an unpaid internship, interns are encouraged to earn academic credit for this experience. Please consult with your faculty advisor.

Intern duties will include administrative support, general clerical support, filing paper copies of documents, scanning and electronically filing documents , data entry, updating Excel spreadsheets, organizing supplies and office environment, taking meeting notes, assisting with scheduling and screening incoming calls, other duties as assigned. Interns will gain experience with data entry, filing, calendar management, and Microsoft Office. They will also gain valuable exposure to non-profit administration.

The successful intern will be detail oriented and extremely accurate in data and calendar entry. They will be organized, and able to transition from task to task, as needed, in a fast-paced environment. The successful intern will exhibit an eagerness and ability to learn quickly, as well as the willingness to ask questions when they are uncertain. Professionalism in their appearance and demeanor and strict confidentiality is a must.

Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office is a must. Prior experience with multi-line phone systems and Point of Sale systems are a plus, but not required.
