Our ideal candidate would have a bachelor’s degree with 1-3 years of professional experience in finance, accounting, consulting, or taxes in an organization. We need someone who knows how to solve problems by communicating with both clients and our team. Communication skills both verbally and in written form are a must, yet can be casual with colleagues and fit into our team’s family culture. In addition, we need someone who is detail-oriented and takes it seriously to ensure we comply with laws and regulations. If all this is true for you, keep reading because we are getting closer to calling this a fit.
Now we believe that for a relationship to be successful both people must win. Our team bonds over collectively achieving company goals. We cannot do it alone, we are all an important part of the whole. We want you to understand your strengths and leverage them, but we also expect you to understand your weaknesses, so they don’t blindside you. We don’t look for perfection, we look for people to have personal awareness. If you agree so far, we are on track so let’s head to the details.
We want to make sure you like challenges and thrive for them. You need to be extremely comfortable to figure out projects you’ve never worked on before. Could you figure out and negotiate tax credits for a client who is considering moving out of the state? If given a new project you’ve never encountered, could you research, obtain the necessary information and successfully complete it? If you are laughing keep reading. If this is not you, do us both a favor and stop reading so we don’t waste each other’s time.
