The Marketing Intern in the Heavy Industrial Business (HIB) at Hypertherm will help the business team understand market dynamics, customer and channel insights and drive innovation to develop new offerings. This role will have a strategic focus, uncovering new areas of value, but with an intensely interactive approach, working with experts across the company and key customers and business partners.
Hypertherm is the global leader in industrial plasma cutting systems, with the largest global market share and a 50 year history of innovation and technology excellence. Today’s environment creates new opportunities to expand our portfolio of offerings and this role will help HIB to identify growth opportunities in new markets and applications, innovations in performance, worker safety and sustainability, as well as new offerings for Industry 4.0 and Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT). Because of significant interaction with Associates, Customers and Channel Partners around the world, this position may function remotely.
You will work alongside outstanding colleagues who will help you learn and develop your skills, and cultivate relationships with your intern cohort as you participate in rewarding work.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in MBA college degree program
- First or Second year in good standing
- Prior internship experience in a manufacturing environment, a plus!
- Enthusiastic about learning with the ability to work collaboratively in a team, as well as independently on selected projects
