Innovation Ethics Summer Internship
Start/End Date: May 15th – August 15th
Application Deadline: April 15th
Selection Notification: May 1st
The selected student(s) will receive a stipend upon successful completion of the internship, which includes submission of a completed research paper and consistent attendance at events and meetings associated with the internship. The stipend amount depends on the performance of the student’s $5,000 brokerage account, which will be managed with the guidance of Ideatrek mentors. Students will earn a minimum of $250 and a maximum of $10,000, but we expect the final amount to be ~$500-700 depending on performance.
Our panel will randomly reject 50% of applicants, select qualified applicants from the remaining pool, and finally select 5 applicants by lottery. The first selected applicant will be offered the internship, and if they decline then the offer will be given to the second, and so on. If the selected student does not complete the project or for whatever reason has lost the confidence of the support staff, they will be terminated, and the stipend will be awarded to the next student in line.
We will notify all applicants of their decision. Rejected applicants are welcome to apply to other opportunities.
