International Technology and Trade Associates Inc. (ITTA), an international consulting firm located in Washington, D.C. (near DuPont Circle), is offering a paid part-time internship to a graduate student in the field of science and technology (S&T) policy for the spring semester of 2021 and possibly beyond.
Interest in developments related to U.S. and international S&T policies (IT, emerging techs, government R&D, space) is desirable. We are seeking a serious, responsible individual who desires real world experience in a professional environment.
ITTA provides a wide range of professional services to its clients, including objective research, informed analysis, and the design and implementation of effective business strategies. ITTA serves a variety of U.S. and international clients in the areas of aerospace, space, defense, government relations, energy and the environment, foreign policy, as well as international trade and investment in a range of industries.
Internships at ITTA are structured to provide valuable experience by working with ITTA professional staff in serving the needs of our clients. A commitment of 20-25 hours per week is required, with flexible scheduling during normal business hours. Remote work policies will be discussed during the interview process. The intern will be paid $14 per hour. The internship is renewable on a semester basis.
The position primarily involves substantive research, analysis, and writing in support of staff reporting requirements and other client deliverables. Interns will be asked to conduct research and writing tasks for both short-term and long-term projects. Candidates must exhibit excellent writing skills and strong attention to detail.
