APL seeks talented college students in the summer to help us solve challenging technical problems. The College Summer Internship Program offers practical work experience and an introduction to APL for engineering and science majors.
Primarily the internship openings are in the areas of Engineering, Applied Math/Physics and Computer Science and Cyber Security. There are also a limited number openings in other STEM areas (Chemistry, Biology and Material science) Interns must provide their own housing and daily transportation to the Laboratory Eligibility requirements: include US citizenship and a minimum overall GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (at the date of application) When prompted to upload attachments, please include a copy your resume and college transcripts (unofficial is fine). This is required for the application.
For consideration, applicants should be:
– An engineering, computer science, IT, mathematics, biology, chemistry or physics major
– A full-time student – An achiever with at least a 3.0/4.0 overall GPA
– A person with an interest in applied scientific research
– A U.S. citizen (required in order to obtain a security clearance)
