ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION
Just Futures Law is a women of color-led, 100% female-founded, immigration legal project that defends and builds the power of immigrants’ rights and criminal justice activists, organizers, and community groups working to disrupt and dismantle our deportation and mass incarceration systems. We develop legal and advocacy strategies aimed at disrupting criminalization and deportation, file litigation aligned with organizing; and are building a political home for lawyers and legal workers who want to partner with directly-impacted communities in tearing down oppressive systems that have resulted in our mass deportation and incarceration state.
RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT & COMMUNICATIONS VOLUNTEER INTERN
Just Futures Law seeks a Resource Development & Communication Volunteer Intern to provide assistance (remotely) for approximately 5 hours per week. In addition, the volunteer intern may work with others to write and distribute email and online content and expand the organization’s public profile.
Please submit a single PDF document containing a cover letter, resume, and writing sample by email to email@example.com. Please indicate “RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT INTERN” in the subject line. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
Please note: All positions are unpaid. Volunteer work is virtual/remote at this time.
