K2 Growth Partners (K2GP), an emerging private equity firm with a strong foundation in the industry, is seeking an energetic and entrepreneurial Analyst Intern. With a focus on growing small to medium-sized businesses across the United States in various industries such as manufacturing, business services, distribution, and more, K2GP offers a dynamic environment for learning and growth.
A Private Equity Analyst Intern with K2GP will support a wide range of activities associated with the firm, providing that individual with a unique opportunity to learn a substantial amount about the business. They will specifically help support investment sourcing and origination, business development, CRM data management, financial modeling and analysis, industry research, and other tasks associated with Private Equity.
Ideal candidates:
- Are in their Sophomore, Junior, or Senior terms in Fall 2024
- Are preferably majoring in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or another Business field (although this isn’t a requirement)
- Have a basic understanding of accounting and financial statement analysis
- Preferably have completed one or more applicable internships (although not required)
- Are proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and familiar with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software
This is a part-time, remote position with opportunities for an expanded role over time. Students may receive course credit for the internship. Students seeking this option should inquire with their academic advisor.
